You can see or work with the access authorizations set up for a schedule. Whether you can work with the authorizations or only see them depends on the Change Auth authorization. By default, all userids have Standard Authorization to the schedule.

VM:Webserver for OfficeVision only lets you select valid combinations of authorizations. When you select an authorization, VM:Webserver for OfficeVision automatically selects authorizations that are related to that authorization (for example, if you select the Change Norm authorization, it selects the View Norm authorization).

Tasks

Give a userid special access to a schedule

Return a userid to Standard Authorization access to a schedule

Prevent a userid from accessing a schedule

Modify a userid’s access to a schedule

Fields

owner Owner of the schedule to work with. You can enter an OfficeVision/VM userid or nickname. The default is the owner most recently entered on a page. To return to your schedule, clear the field and click Go.
Userid Userids authorized to display or work with the current schedule.
Name Nickname for each userid, taken from the OfficeVision/VM configuration. There is always an entry for Standard Authorization, which establishes access for all userids who do not have special access.
View Time User can see only the times of events on the current schedule. He cannot see descriptions of the events, and he cannot change the events. If you give a user this authorization, you cannot then give him any other authorizations to see or change events.
View Norm User can see times and descriptions for Normal events on the current schedule.
View Conf User can see times and descriptions for Confidential events on the current schedule.
View Pers User can see times and descriptions for Personal events on the current schedule.
Change Norm User can see and change times and descriptions for Normal events on the current schedule.
Change Conf User can see and change times and descriptions for Confidential events on the current schedule.
Change Pers User can see and change times and descriptions for Personal events on the current schedule.
Change Auth User can change the access authorizations for the current schedule.

When a user has no access to Personal or Confidential events, he sees the times for those events but only the characters PERS: or CONF: in the event descriptions.
