Product Overview

VM:Webserver for OfficeVision is a graphical user interface (GUI) front-end to IBM's OfficeVision/VM. It is a VM:Webserver option that runs on the VM:Webserver service virtual machine.

VM:Webserver controls VM:Webserver for OfficeVision users' access to OfficeVision/VM. It uses HTTP Basic Authentication to make sure the VM userids and passwords of those users are valid.

Configuration settings for VM:Webserver for OfficeVision are stored in the VM:Webserver database and VM:Webserver configuration file. You can query and update the settings using configuration forms or linemode commands.

If you like, you can customize the VM:Webserver for OfficeVision main menu (for example, add, delete, and move menu icons) for your site.
